Perfect for an hour or a full day, great museum store, good enough food. The curator at this museum is unbelievably skilled. We’ve been to many special exhibits over the years, and are always impressed by the varied and unusual combination of pieces exhibited.

We went to Salem not knowing about this gem. So glad we received the recommendation or we would’ve left Salem early and missed out. There is an attraction for all ages at this Museum. When we went, we lucked into the 4D exhibit and got to tour the historic houses located just outside the museum. It was perfect!!!

We jumped in our car and took a ride from the Cape to the PEM museum. I have not been to a real museum since my youth. A great time was spent by myself , my wife , and our teenage daughter.
Many exhibits to see and wander on to. The Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit was a great one to see and is only here for a short time.
The American and Maritime art and exhibition was extremely well liked . Many opportunities to take a great picture of the art too.
The Xyzt exhibition was lived by the teenager and was interactive.
We will head back after the spring to check out any new exhibits that may be around the corner .

We love the PEM exhibitions. Unfortunately we visited on a holiday this time and it was super crowded.

We came for the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit which was really interesting. Mostly about her clothes, photos of her from assorted people including Andy Warhol and some artwork. It was really crowded which was a surprise. There is no limited ticketing system. Wandered around the other exhibits which were each intriguing. A well put together museum that has really emerged as a regional leader.
