We wouldn't recommend this hotel for solo travelers as there are vagrants and questionable activity around the hotel at night. The lobby is locked at night and you have to communicate with the staff thru a bank teller-like window. The room itself was clean but the balcony and halls showed the age of the hotel. The doors looked like they'd been busted a few times so we made sure to use the top locks. The hotel is surprisingly quiet since it's next door to a highway. Food & gas are nearby. We knew we weren't checking into a luxury hotel but I would warn against solo travelers staying here. Otherwise it's a decently-run hotel.

Little surprised to find major road construction on Ina Rd...however, it wasn’t hard to navigate the back roads to the motel. Checked in, quick and efficient, room clean, modern, king size bed, shower/bath, plenty of hot water, towels and soap. Tv had a good cable package...tho had some interference...cable sketchy....wind was blowing the last day. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, fresh towels, bed made. Even left a nice note next to the dog show ribbons i’d left on the dresser:).
Out side, Motel has pretty landscaping: purple bougainvillea bushes and orange and gold bushes that hummingbird and butterflies LOVE!!!
Very pet friendly...good places to walk dogs. Tho, I had to carry extra bags to pick up piles left by ignoramous pet owners!!!!!!
Once the freeway construction is done...access to motel will be easier....tho, once I figured out the way to the on ramps to I-10....it was easy access.

When i complained i had to wait and talk to corp. Just to get discount. They never sent correspondence to do any p.r. at all. Would never stay again was too ridiculous. Because staff did not have any. authority to make something right. Very frustrated just to try and resolve a problem. No more.

Sketcy area, part of hotel being demolished. Restaurant closed.
The good. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Refurbished rooms use new Motel 6 scheme of hardwood floors and comfortable beds. They have tried to establish a Motel 6 in an old dilapidated wreck, most of which looks like it is slowly being torn down. The area is sketchy, several of the guests looked sketchy too. I would NOT recommend staying here and I have stayed in many Motel 6s.

Welcoming the local and traveling crackheads and random hoodlums. If you're looking for a place to sleep, or not that's conveniently off the highway and includes for your convenience, local working girls that knock on your door (room service) if you need to get your fix, just go 2 doors down. Talk to Jimmy, he's the one in red shorts and the orange poncho. Offering a beautiful television with the volume set at 37 that will drown out the neighbors "fun time" noises by not allowing you to turn it off. Nowhere to attach your USB cable. What appears to be blood decorating the beautifully hole patched bugger lined walls. This is a travelers dream on the go. Bring the kids! There's a great abandoned motel nextdoor with plenty of friendly homesteaders for you to befriend and share needles with.
