The Baja Cafe is the sort of amazing local and unique place you want to visit anytime you are in a new city! Expect a long wait on weekends, but you can lounge in leisure on one of the many odd lot lawn chairs as your appetite builds (we waited 45 minutes on a Saturday around noon for a party of 6).

The location is nondescript - basically in strip mall, but there is indoor/outdoor seating (with heat lamps) and dogs are welcome which is a nice touch. The inside feels and looks like a disco’d out college bar, but you are here for the food (and drinks). How can you go wrong with the Yosemite Sam Bloody Mary which comes decked out with jalapeño bacon AND habanero sausage - and that’s just in your drink!

I tried a few dishes, and the Wyatt Earp was my favorite - chorizo tamale cakes, pulled pork, bacon, roasted chilies and veggies - all topped with two perfectly poached eggs and an avocado hollandaise... hungry yet? Your arteries may not be able to handle frequent visits, but I highly recommend you wear your stretchy pants and belly up at the Baja Cafe.

Some of the greatest eggs Benedict’s (plural) around! They have a wide variety of choices but they are known for their Benedict’s. I would definitely recommend, and definitely eat again!

We went here for breakfast on a recommendation. So glad we went, even my pickiest child enjoyed it. The choices can be overwhelming wish we could have gone back. We shared a pancake which was very good. Two of us did the eggs benedict which were both fantastic. My son loved the sweet potatoe stacks. Service was great and very helpful and nice people. This place is a must. You can only get waffles on weekends. Enjoy!!

This place is great- your biggest problem will be choosing what to order! We enjoyed a few of their awesome and creative eggs benedict dishes, plus a sweet and decadent snickerdoodle pancake. They were really friendly and welcoming and even had a little play area for our toddler. Highly recommend!

So try their king kong stack!!!! Its amazingly delicious!!!! Could eat it every morning! So, I cant give them 5 rating because some of their weirdo staff is not too nice. They act like they are bothered and talk to you kind of rude. They should stick to hiring vets like the Marine vet they habe there, he is super nice and attentive. I would like to give him props , i dont know how he deals with them hipsters there but oh well, he is the best server. They do lack in their coffee, taste mehhh to say the least. Maybe go with darker roasts or something. It is a breakfast place and your coffee is pretty tepid. Other than that great food, reccomend it!!!
