Loved the food here, especially the chicken mole. For lunch you get a nice platter of food, with your main course, a salad, beans, rice and tortillas. Service is quick and it is easy and fast to get in and out.

Sevice was not right, odd older lady with a knife on her belt. The Huevos Rancheros were so so. What took most of the plate was lots of vegetables that have nothing to do with this easy to make dish. No beans no fresh cheese.
If you are Vegan you may enjoy this place.

The hours are incorrect on this page. It closed at 2 PM yesterday and is not open during the weekends. Thanks to politics in Arizona I had the day off to finally go here. The food was cheap and tasty. I spent $20 including tip for both me and my boyfriend to have a good meal. We usually drink water so that is minus a drink. I ordered the Green Corn Tamale which was flavorful and moist. The tamale came with rice and a tasty side salad which was comprised of real vegetables! A warmer of corn tortillas and a small pot of whole pinto beans came for both of us to share. It was enough food that I was feeling full but didn't take any home. This is a green restaurant so they encourage you to clean your plate! Bring your own containers for take out.

The restaurant is charming, but seriously overpriced for the quality. Two of us ordered the chicken mole dish with a choice of two sauces. The waitress suggested a little of each, which was a great idea. The mole sauces were so sweet as to be almost inedible. Of course, this is our individual taste - we prefer to save the sweets for dessert, not the main meal. There was only one vegetarian option, a tamale that had a choice of two sauces, again with the suggestion that we try both sauces. The tamale was served only tepid, not hot, and so sweet it was like a dessert. One sauce looked like it was made from Velveeta, the other like the gravy from the 3 star hotel's biscuit and gravy breakfast. The salad was plentiful and complex, but the dressing was insipid with only one option. Regarding price, we ended up spending over $100 for 3 of us - and none of us ordered a drink of any kind! The best part of the meal was the beans they offered as a side.

We had a hooray for the “mix it up plate” which allows the kitchen to determine your meal! We ordered another green chili tamal immediately after the first one arrived. The beans were fantastic, salsa fresh & pork tender & we left with very full bellies & hugs as well!
