We wanted for nothing!! Toothpaste, coffee, sunscreen etc... It is a perfect cabin being close to the entrance of Rocky Mountains National Park and the cheery downtown!!! Veiws for days!!! My hubs caught a lot of trout too. My kids lived all the plush bears. Cozy, warm and welcoming!
Loved the place. I will come back again. Loved the river in the back yard. Snowed on us one day , high 60's the next.
The cabin was clean with good amenities and supplies. Great location for all we wanted to do in the area, didn't feel like we had to drive far to go horseback riding, shopping, hiking, run to the grocery story or grab a bite out to eat. And relaxing to sit outside by the river and watch the hummingbirds.
Estes Park is beautiful, and a nice place to stay makes the experience even more awesome. Davey Boy cabin I highly recommend for a nice cottage feel, for it's well-stocked kitchen and a great backyard to lounge on , where I spent my mornings sipping tea and looking at the lazy, pretty Thompson river and cute ducks staring at me probably wondering where I came from. Estes park is merely 5-8 minutes away and the outdoors and grocery shops are the first things you see when you enter Estes from this cabin, so that's an icing on the cake of convenience.
The only one thing I would have liked to see is maybe a nice heater fan in the bedroom that is farthest from the fireplace, gets kinda chilly there. No wonder my friends shrewdly assigned that room to me ...lol. Oh and a Hot tub in the backyard might be something the owner can think of adding !

Our family loved staying at Davey Boy cabin! It was the perfect setting for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed going into Estes Park and loved hanging around the cabin. It was the best of both worlds. We enjoyed our breakfast on the back porch next to the river. A bonus was we had several hummingbirds visit the feeder while we were out on the back porch and we got to sleep with the windows open so we could hear the sound of the river. The kitchen was well stocked! If you are looking for a place to stay this is the place! Owners are wonderful to work with.
