We had a very nice ride up a mountain trail with our guide Chris. He was super friendly, answered all our questions, and did a great job as our trail guide. He is very experienced. The views during our ride were wonderful. The weather was cold but thankfully the rain/snow held off until much later.

Me, my wife and teenage daughter had a wonderful experience at the Sombrero ranch. We had varying degrees of experience and the staff did a great job of matching us up with the right horse. Our guide, Stephanie, was excellent and we enjoyed the tour she gave us. Views of the Rocky Mountains while enjoying a leisurely ride through the trail was a highlight of our vacation. We would recommend Sombrero Ranch and will likely be back for a longer ride.

We only had time for a quick one hour trail ride but wished we could have went longer! Maggie, our guide, was great. Very informative. Great way to see nature up close! In summer months you have the opportunity to do trails in the RMNP with a variety of options.

Kathy was a great guide--very informative and fun. Even as beginners, she walked us through mounting, riding and steering the horses. We chose the two hour ride which was a great choice because we got to go to the top of the mountain and see amazing sights. They operate all year round--we went the morning after a snowstorm. The horses all have their own personalities and that was a very fun part of the ride. At the very end we encountered a herd of elk that watched us as we rode through them. If you have the time, definitely schedule a ride here. It's well worth the money!

This was a very cool experience! Chloe was our guide and was very informative, fun to talk to and good with the horses. She was very kind and made our ride very enjoyable! They were ready for us and very organized when we arrived. I would recommend this to anyone whether you ride a lot or it would be your first time riding!
