My wife & I stayed here for a weekend getaway in Estes Park, CO. We were very pleased! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was great, very close to downtown shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was simple, but good. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or fire pits, but those were nice added amenities. Would definitely stay here again for a future visit!

Thanks for taking the time to review and for staying with us! It's wonderful to hear that you two enjoyed your time here and that the room was comfortable for you. Estes in the winter is much slower, and if you enjoy calm and peaceful, it can be just perfect. There isn't as much hiking or outdoor activity to do, but there is plenty downtown during daylight hours. Plus a nice drive in the mountains can be relaxing as long as you take it slow! Thank you again and we hope to see you again soon.

My family was desperate to stretch our legs the evening we reached Maxwell inn. The room was perfect and my little one went to sleep soon. Being lazy, couldn't drive a lot for dinner, planned to walk cross the NY Pizza shop .. Yummy. Inn was all like it was advertised.

Room Tip: I was in room 8 facing the parking but could see tip of mountain in far. Was good though

Deepak - "As Advertised" is a wonderful compliment, because we really, more than anything else, just want people who visit Estes Park to enjoy their time here. It's great to hear that our place was what you had in mind, and that you enjoyed your time spent here. Having the pizza place close is pretty handy - I wouldn't call it lazy, let's call it efficient! :-) Thank you for taking the time to review our motel and for staying with us this Fall. We hope you can visit Estes Park, and the Maxwell Inn, again soon.

My wife and I recently spent several days at the Maxwell Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms have recently been remodeled. They are very neat, clean and attractive. The location is great, very near downtown so you can walk from the hotel. They have great amenities, continental breakfast, outdoor hot tub, seating and fire pit. A great place to stay and we will definitely be back!

Alan, It's great to hear that you enjoyed your time here with us and in Estes. Our motel was built in the early 1970s and we've worked hard to update it with character and functionality in mind. It's definitely not the Ritz, but that's ok! Thank you for the kind words about our place and our staff. We strive to be as accommodating as possible and really enjoy meeting people from all over and helping them get the most out of Estes. Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our motel and for choosing to stay here. We hope to see you again.

The Maxwell Inn is a great Inn right outside of RMNP. We stayed in one of the newer rooms with 2 queen beds. Rooms are large compared to other hotels at/near national parks. The bathroom and shower were clean, beds were comfortable, and the proximity to the park was fantastic. The free breakfast was basic but met out needs. One added feature was the pizza place Atonio's next door. Great pizza and they walked it over to our room after getting the on line order mixed up.

Room Tip: we asked for a newer room, since we knew that was recently built.

Sheila - Thanks for staying with us this fall and we really appreciate the kind words! Folks generally do like our location, and having a pizza place across the street definitely is convenient. We just finished that building in the spring of 2017, and travelers are really liking the rooms - so glad to hear your experience was a good one. Thank you for taking the time to review our motel and please consider us if you visit Estes again in the future!

Me and my boyfriend came up spur of the moment to try and camp, were natives ( well I am) and thought we could handle the cold but it snowed and we ended up staying the night in our car so we were already exhausted from a cold sleepless night, we came up at 8am to Maxwell Inn and Dana explained the rates and that check in time wasn’t until 4 but I think she could tell we had a rough night and let us check in at 1230.. so it gave us plenty of time to have breakfast and hike for the morning. Once we were checked in my boyfriend was thrilled that there was WiFi, cable tv and football for the big Sunday night game. It was sooo clean and the amenities were beyond our expectation! We’re coming back indefinitely and we want this to always be our go to! Thanks Dana :-)

Melissa, Thank you for your kind words and for staying with us while you were in Estes. When I think back on our vacations - the ones that go "off the rails" are sometimes the most fun, and create the best memories. We're happy to know that you guys enjoyed your time here despite the change of plans. It was nice to meet you and if you head out this way again please feel free to look us up if you're not camping! Thank you again!
