Husband and I have eaten here twice recently after a long hiatus. It’s been really good both times. Had lunch here on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago and again today. I got an assortment of oysters from the raw bar on the first visit. They were really good, but with the exception of the Cotuit oyster, were very small. I was disappointed. Today, I got 2 of the vineyard oysters, which were large and briny and a colossal shrimp. The hand-cut fries are to die for, some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Their corn and clam chowder with bacon is so good I have to get it every time. They have a good wine selection at reasonable prices. My husband had the fish wrap but prefers the pulled pork wrap, which he raved about. We shared the house salad with ginger dressing on one visit. The vegetables were beautiful and artfully arranged but I’ve had better ginger dressing. The chicken wings with blue cheese dressing were big and tasty, but if you want spicy, ask for hot sauce. I had the flat iron steak today, which was surprisingly tender and cooked to perfection. But temperature was just warm, should have been piping hot. The passion fruit bombe was de bomb! Delicious, and the blackberries were ripe. To die for! A great restaurant in an unexpected place.
