Frontier Restaurant is perfect for comfort food anytime of the day. Located across the street from University of New Mexico, this is where the college kids eat. And, for good reason. The food is good, portions generous and the price is reasonable. During peak times, the line can get long, but the wait is worth it. The menu is varied from traditional to New Mexican fair, and you can customize to your heart's content (stomach too).

This restaurant was really good, about 10 mins from the hotel we stayed at, a little too crowded, had to make a line to order but the green chili stew and the right there made flower tortillas was worth the wait

Good spot for a quick late lunch, we'd definitely go back. I'd like to stop & get a cinnamon roll, noticed everyone was getting them. Had the 1/2 enchiladas with beans & left stuffed. Thanks for a great lunch!

The service and food is quick. Fortunately there was no line when I went on Sunday evening. Place was packed though. No booze just food only. I liked the Christmas combination of red and green chili

We went expecting good things, but were even more impressed when we got there. Went at 10:30 expecting a light crowd, and there was still a 5 minute line to order. Well worth the wait, no matter how long. New Mexican food was really good, and the cinnamon roll should be a must for everyone. Service was quick and efficient, and it’s easy to see why this place is so popular.
