We were impressed by the exquisite attention to customer service. This property is very well kept, super clean and the interior design is tranquil with a lovely color scheme. The exterior is also beautiful with peaceful outdoor areas. There is no pool or hot tub but the quality of the experience is what we will remember. There is no room service but we ordered pizza from a local place on the recommendation of the staff -it was great. The lounge on the fourth floor does not open until 3pm, but the food was great, we had kobe sliders and chicken satay skewers. Everyone we talked to was very concerned about the dress code in the lounge; we found it relaxed and comfortable. Although this property is located near the highway (very easy to find) it is not noisy. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, they were easy to talk to and made our stay special. I am spoiled for hotel breakfast buffets now-theirs was exceptional. There were three different choices of quiche, many different pastries including chocolate croissants! There were the usual choices of cereal and yogurt, but the oatmeal was in individual containers and all the dishes and silverware were not plastic! There was a lovely assortment of fresh fruit and delicious juices that were in chilled glass pitchers. I saw a family with young children that seemed frustrated and unable to find something the kids would eat but we were thrilled to find such a fresh selection and to get away from the heavy waffle and pancake machines we find at so many hotels now. Altogether this is a terrific hotel and we will be back.

Room Tip: Try the "Doctor's Residence" hardwood floors but no elevator.

Dear BlueberrywinePBR,

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Hotel Parq Central on your recent trip to Albuquerque. We are so glad that you found the property to be well kept and the design to be tranquil. The grounds are really lovely this time of year and we are glad that you found time to spend in the courtyard and on the rooftop in the Apothecary lounge. We do have a hot tub tucked between the main building and the residence, so we will be happy to show you where it is located on your next visit. The location of the property is near the highway, but we were very conscious of this during the reconstruction and did our best to create a peaceful and quiet environment. We are thrilled that you enjoyed the breakfast so much; this is something we truly enjoy offering our guests each morning.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us and we look forward to seeing you on your next trip!

All the best,

Noelle Wallace

We just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at HPC. The hotel was chic, immaculate, and plush. The beds are so comfortable and makes for a relaxing getaway. We particularly enjoyed the morning breakfast (my mom loved this), as well as complimentary wi-fi and parking as a guest. The price may be a bit more than other hotels, but it is well worth the cost. We upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite, (there were 3 of us--one being a toddler) which provided us with plenty of space. The best part of the stay was the hotel staff--especially, Mike. The staff was very friendly and tended to your every need. I can't say enough good things about Hotel Parq Central, and I look forward to our future return!

Room Tip: Rooms opposite of Central provide a better view. I would go with 1 bedroom suite--extra space!!

In every aspect the Hotel Parq Central was a delight. We arrived after dark on the new train
from Sante Fe. (The cost per person $3 for those over 62. Otherwise $8.) The free pick-up from our hotel arrived at the curb as we did as I had called from the prior stop to give our arrival time. Nice. Reception asked if we would like an upgrade to a suite for $20 more a night which turned out to be a lovely 2 room arrangement with large bath. The decor is contemporary, but softened with soft understated colors and furniture designs. Breakfast, which is served until 10:30am is a very generous expanded continental. Delicious pastries, fruit, cereals, boiled eggs, etc. Coffee is served in the hallway station early in the morning.

The day was spent seeing all the attractions and the hotel 'limo' dropped us off and picked us up at the end of our full day of sight-seeing. We did walk quite some distances between
the Botanical gardens area to Old Town, ending up at the Museum of Natural History. (The
Planetarium show there is amazing as are the full size dinosaur models of ones found in New Mexico.) This free transportation service was spectacular!

Both nights we had small suppers at the hotel's rooftop cafe which has a limited but varied menu with a grand view over the city. And the hotel also provides airport shuttle service.
The staff here is all we had read about in other reviews: friendly, knowlegable and helpful!.

Room Tip: If possible, reserve a suite. You will not be disappointed!

Dear EllenHawkins,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay with us at Hotel Parq Central. We are so pleased that the complimentary shuttle service worked well for you and that you were able to upgrade to a suite upon check in. We are delighted that you found the decor to be contemporary, but softened and that you enjoyed the breakfast and coffee each morning. We enjoy offering this to our guests so they can be truly pampered and begin their day without a worry of brewing a pot of coffee or finding a spot to have breakfast. Albuquerque has so much to offer and we are glad that you enjoyed time in the lovely botanical gardens, a stroll through Old Town and even had time to take in the natural history museum. The Apothecary lounge does offer a lovely view of the city and we are happy that you enjoyed the view while sampling some of the items off of the menu. We are most of all thrilled to know that the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Hospitality is the vital component of any hotel stay and making each guest feel at home is our greatest priority.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your recent visit to Albuquerque. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

All the best,

We stayed here Friday through Sunday for a wedding in March. We had a large group and took up several of the rooms. My party stayed in suites across the hall from each other on the 2nd floor. The suites are good size with king beds in a separated bedroom at the end of a hallway. There is also a living room at the entrance with a pretty comfortable pull out couch. The rooms and the entire hotel were immaculately kept. The grounds are a little sparse but well maintained. The hotel is directly off of hwy 25 which is good and bad. The hwy location made it very easy to get anywhere we needed to be but our room faced the hwy and had a significant amount of road noise in the morning. The hotel is actually located on the very upper end of the main drag of downtown and at the lower end of the university neighborhood. Some of the business surrounding the area is a little suspect but once you get a block or two in either direction it gets better.

There is a bar on the 4th floor (top floor) with a really nice outdoor area. The bar itself is small but was modern and had a fun vibe. The only downside to the entire stay was an extremely rude bar manager. On multiple occasions he addressed members of our party rudely and did not seem concerned at all about providing good service. Kinda of disappointing since the rest of the staff were very helpful and kind.

Overall this is a very clean hotel with good size rooms and above average amenities. The location is good and the area it is in is close to allot of activity. The price was on the higher end so I might look around next time for either a better value close by or a higher end facility for a similar price.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the highway are very noisy.

Dear clou89,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay at Hotel Parq Central. We hope that the wedding festivities went well and we appreciate you choosing to stay with us during such a special time. We are glad that you enjoyed the suites you stayed in and that you found your room to be immaculately kept. We are sorry that you experienced some noise from the highway during your stay; we are more than happy to move you to the other side of the building on your next stay. We are so happy that you enjoyed some time in the Apothecary lounge and found the vibe to be fun and modern. We apologize for the misunderstanding with our Apothecary Manager. The type of liquor license we have does not permit the consumption of outside beverages on property and we are sorry that this was an inconvenience during your time in the Apothecary. We are thrilled that the staff you encountered were helpful and kind. It is our goal to ensure that each guest feels at home during their time with us.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with us and we are very happy that your overall stay with us was enjoyable. We hope to see you again soon!
