We very much enjoyed our stay with Dan and Janet. They are warm and welcoming hosts. The Inn is kept in immaculate condition and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is very good for exploring the area and away from the noise and busyness of the local towns allowing for a wonderful nights sleep. The breakfasts were outstanding! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Accommodations are 5 star. View and porch overlooking the ocean are very relaxing. View of Olympic mountains on the other side. Food was good, even an espresso machine in the room. Hosts were very accommodating. Got to watch Dan roast his own coffee. I can't imagine any other place in the area being better.

Room Tip: Presidential suite was large and lots of room.

The George Washington Inn sets in a beautiful setting. The straight of Juan de Fuca and Canada on one side and the Olympic mountains on the other. You can just rest if you want, take the ferry over to Victoria BC, hike in the mountains, or drive out to the far NW point of Washington state. If you are looking for clean, excellent service, and peace this place for you!

Room Tip: all rooms here are great

This was our second stay, and lived up to our already high expectations. Beautifully appointed rooms are meticulously maintained. We've now stayed in the biggest and the smallest suites and both were absolutely excellent. The breakfast was also wonderful - Janet somehow managed to plate everything piping hot for all the guests. We will definitely be returning!

Our midweek experience was magnificent by all measures. This is a remarkably high quality recreation of George Washingtons Mt Vernon home on the outside and the most gracious and beautifully crafted interior optimized for guests. One is presented with a feast of impressive views of mountains, the Straihts of Juan de Fuca, the gorgeous countryside and the lavendar farm. The feelings of space and tranquility are positively rejuvenating and quickly unwound us from the pressures of our city life. Our host, Janet, made us feel truly welcome and the breakfasts were both unusual and delightful with little hints of lavendar. We will certainly be planning more visits in the future. An additional big plus for us was the provision of universal electric electric vehicle, and Tesla charging facilities for our car.

Room Tip: We loved our second floor room, with great views and having a a reason to use the awesome curved stairway.
