My wife booked this hotel for two nights as we were in town visiting family. This hotel used to be called the Portside but has since changed, and if you are wanting to stay next to the Bushwacker restaurant, that is now closed. This hotel wasn't horrible, but it has gone downhill quite a bit. There was a big shower mouse in the tub, (clump of hair) and a lot of soap scum on the shower walls. The room had barely been cleaned beyond cosmetics at first glance. The AC worked great, which was nice, but the TV signal had an intermittent "stuttering/rippling" effect. The bed was comfortable, and everything worked, but as for as small details go, there was no conditioner supplied, no iron, and no in room hair dryer. The staff did try to be attentive and friendly, and when we requested an iron, they rushed one right up. The breakfast area is very small and although they do indicate that it is continental, there still wasn't much variety. At $150 per night, I would like to see the ownership put a little more into their hotel to make it nicer. We would stay there again, but only after being unable to find better lodging.
