On the way to Whagarei, I stopped off at this little cafe. Such a lovely lady served my friend and I. The food was lovely and she made a pretty good cortado, never having made it before. She was so lovely, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a pleasant little stop.

Friend and I were visiting Sheepworld and happened to be hungry. The food was reasonably priced, but rather average. Typical Western fare, something to eat in case you're at Sheepworld and didn't bring snacks yourself.

While visitig Sheepworld we stopped in at the cafe for some afternoon tea, lovely home made food and great surroundings. And they have a safe area for young children to play.

The staff were, and tried to be helpful and the venue was child-friendly. The food was a unusual arrangement of "something" on bread. Lamb-burger, beef-burger, chicken-burger or the daily special was Ham Roll on bread. There was a all-day breakfast but very little for non-bread lovers and the bread was commercial style buns etc. There was plenty of parking but overall I thought it was sad and wondered how they balance the till against expenses.

Had a great few hours here and got to see sheep being herded and sheep being sheared. Incredibly fast agile and skilled handlers. Boy do they work hard. $2 per sheep, and they can only earn good money by getting fast and proficient. Looks to be a hard way to earn a living
