We have just arrived in Warworth after an overnight flight from Perth. Tired and in need of sustenance.
We had an entree size serve of mussels and a steak burger with chips. Both meals were very good. Steak was very tender and presented really nicely. The mussels were wonderful and the accompanying bread was a perfect match.
Add a couple of glasses of Gris and I feel an afternoon nap coming on.
Friendly, efficient staff and a gorgeous setting made this a good choice.

Bridgehouse has a good range of better than average pub food. Clearly a lot of locals eat here, as well as Bridgehouse Lodge house guests, which is always a good sign. It's not open for breakfast, though

I popped in for a meal on a Thursday night as I couldn't be bothered to cook that night and ordered a Scotch fillet with prawns etc.
I had no problem with what the chef had done with the steak - it was cooked as I requested and the fries/salad were great. But the steak? It was not Scotch fillet... it was fatty and of very poor quality so whoever buys in the meat should change thier supplier or stop penny pinching on cheap cuts and expecting the chef to make it pass for a prime cut.
The service was good although "how's your steak bro? " isn't really what I'd expect a young waiter to say to a 55 year old guy.
Yes it's a pub.... but the restaurant projects a 4 star surrounding, maybe it should start living up to it.

If you are looking for fabulous food, service, accommodation, this is the place for you. We stayed here for two nights, flat screen, tea and coffee available in the room. Great shower. Lovely view overlooking the river.
One fault is that the stairs to your room are not suitable for people with knee or hip problems. Otherwise 5 star.

Nice place! Friendly and great service. Great seating out on the deck looking over river. Good atmosphere. Food was good, had the seafood chowder and a pizza! Would highly recommend.
