We were picked up in our hotel in Ahipara and taken to the departure area. Our driver and guide gave us lots of information and was funny and easy to listen to. The tour included a simple lunch/bbq which was delicious and also provided vegetarian food. The 90 mile beach tour is impressive and beautiful. We were back in our hotel at 4.30 and had a great day. An additional bonus was the great weather.

This tour is great value, picks you up from your accommodation in most cases and a full day touring up the beach to Cape Reinga, lunch included and then back via the highway. Sand duning is included along the way which is a must.

We went on this tour today, a very friendly driver picked us up from our motel. Weather was perfect and we enjoyed the whole trip. Enough toilet stops were made and there is an emergency toilet on the bus. Beautiful sights and I even managed the ride down the sanddune. Good value for money.

Travelled from Mongonui to the Cape and back. A mini bus picked us from Mongonui to Kauri Kingdom from where we took the 4WD tour bus.

Drivers were very friendly, informative and helpful. My brother uses a wheelchair and the front seats of the buses were reserved for him.

Buses are clean and air conditioned and has large windows for better viewing. Seats are quite comfortable.

Lunch provided was really tasty and the company provided roasted veges couscous etc.

For $55 we were picked up at Ahipara at 0830and dropped off at 1600. We had a fab day full of great scenery and entertainment. The drive up 90mile beach was crazy with waves crashing on one side and dunes and walkers on the other. This beach is treated as a highway and patrolled by the Police. Then onto to sandboarding on the dunes - fun and some exercise for the day. Lunch at Tapotupotu bay was a simple BBQ but needed after the sand boarding and what stunning views. After lunch we were off to the Cape, it felt very spiritual and is a special place. We only had an hour to look around but as we were returning on our own the next day that was enough for us. There several walks around the Cape and views galore.

Daniel was our tour guide who had plenty of knowledge about the area. He was funny and passionate about his job and not bad on the sand board! This is definitely one of the best value tours we’ve done.
