Stayed here in a downstairs room - the "Nautical Suite" I think. Nicely appointed room, clean. No wardrobe, but a clothes rack with hangers available. Spacious bathroom and our own private deck. Sadly, the weather didn't make for much deck-sitting. Hosts very nice, not over bearing but ready with advice and answers if needed. Breakfasts were nice, but we were not given any choice. This wasn't really an issue as what we had was fine. There was a fair amount of noise from the suite upstairs until quite late at night, which was a little annoying. The floors are creaky!

My husband and I spend the long weekend here. Special price for 3 nights with breakfast.
Breakfasts were scrumptious and delicious!! Small balcony with good outlook. Glimpses of mountains and night lights through the trees.
Thins walls so we could hear other people, which made us feel uncomfortable. Lovely bathroom with great spa bath. We were warned of the discoloured water which comes from the rainwater tank. Kept quite warm with the reverse cycle air con. Bed not so great, every time hubby moved the bed would literally slide of the base!!
The website states in the room features (Asian room) section bathrobes (none) cable/satellite TV (none), Adults only (not).
Hosts Ken and Robert were gracious and pleasant. Ken is a wonderful cook!
Loved the coffee provided for the plunger. Port on first night ( was surprised). Lovely bush retreat, hosts and breakfasts♥

Room Tip: If wanting a serene outlook Asian room is first choice. Be prepared for bed not so comfy and dark coloured water in bath.

Water was brown and smelled bad. Rooms are nicely decorated. It was hot when we arrived and the room wouldn't cool down because the AC was faulty which made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep.
Never met Robert , but Ken was very accomodating.

Was greeted by a very warm host (can't remember his name). Very nice little room, nice spa bath, nice view, quite private despite being close to others staying with us. Left to our own devices, great last night in qld, wish we stAyed another night.

My partner and I decided to have a long weekend away after our Bali trip was put on hold. I have to say im so glad that we stayed at Tambaridge as a trade off. We booked our package through cork and fork, 2 night stay hot air balloon ride and wine tour, was well worth it if you want a romantic weekend away and want to spoil yourself. Robert was a great host and cooked a lovely Sunday breakfast of poached pairs and eggs benidict. Thank you for your hospitality :-)
