This was a fantastic spot with a perfect beach and fun pools. The food and drink options are good and the activities are too. If you like TriBeCa you'll like this resort. There is live music until 9pm each night and lots of open air dining. It's also not too sprawling which is especially nice. Service is also good -- we had an issue with our room and it was sorted out well.
NOTE: The hotel sells Sun Bum sunscreens in their shop and they have a dispenser by the pool. Having it freely available is amazing, but most Sun Bum sunscreens contain avo- or oxybenzone which is not reef-safe (or that good for your body either). The only reef-safe Sun Bum I saw was the 30 SPF for babies. It's sad that a huge company like Hyatt wouldn't choose a sustainable sunscreen, especially in HI.
Make sure you are using reef-safe sunscreen at all times! Raw Minerals is a good brand that goes on well and doesn't give you a blue hue, or check out EWG's sunscreen guide.More
