The place is easy to find with a beautiful garden we would have loved to enjoy if it had been warmer. Loved the sound of water in the garden. Our room was comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was exquisite. Lori made us feel right at home and was so friendly. Chris’ artwork all over is so good. Thanks for the lovely stay!
Our hosts, Chris and Lori, made our stay SPARKLE with a beautiful room, delicious food, and a friendly ambience. We learned a lot from them about the history of the house and the surrounding community. It really was hard to leave the beauty of their garden. I didn't want to get back in the car again. Thank you both so very much for your gracious hospitality!!! I hope I get to return!
Located conveniently right by the water with a great long boardwalk in the middle of the town of Placentia. This B&B is well maintained. The place is tastefully decorated with many colorful paintings of NL nature and landscape. The chinaware, cutlery, coffee pot and other kitchen accessories are all of very high quality. Great bed coverings and comfy pillows. Breakfast is delivered to your door of your room, nicely packaged with hot pot of coffee in addition to the coffee machine in the room. The rooms or suites are of good sizes. We stayed in the Lupine Suite that gave a good view out into the water and beyond. Love it. Would go again. Highly recommended. Conveniently located to eating venues and scenic spots like the Castle Hill Historic Site and en route to Cape St. Marys or Cape shore towns like Branch and St. Bride.
Myself and my husband stayed with Lori and Chris at their beautiful B& B this month ( June 2023). Rosedale Manor is an adorable and unique place to stay. Chris is a wonderful artist and the Manor displays many of his great works. Lori had added many special touches in every room and the garden is very special. Our stay included a delicious continental breakfast delivered to our door. I encourage you to stay at Rosedale Manor…you will enjoy!
Great hosts, good food comfortable room. We had a great stay. We booked at the last minute and the host bent over backwards to accomodate us. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hospitality and the beautiful area. The BNB was very comfortable and the breakfast scrumptious.
