We waited for a bit for a table/grill, but it wasn't too bad. The chef we had was very skilled and really captured the attention of our boys. He did a masterful job at everything those hibachi chefs do. He made no mistakes and was quite entertaining. The filet was absolutely mouth watering. The chicken was a bit tough though. My only real complaint (and I should have known this going in) was the prices. This excursion as a family was a MASSIVE cost. We probably won't do this again, simply for that reason. Great food and experience though.

Frederick has three similar hibachi type restaurants with the square cooktops that people sit around three sides of where a Japanese chef cooks the food while you watch.

We went to Miyako with a group from the Urbana Senior Center. We all had a wonderful time and the food was delicious, but there is nothing really special about Miyako that makes it any different from any other hibachi type restaurants.

The servings are huge and the food is great. Pricey but good. This is my favorite in town. It's been here for a tleast twelve years.
