I love this place. The gardens, the tours, the fireplace that they have going in the colder months and the activities for kids that my niece and nephew love.

Every summer the Manor Park has a recreation of WWII display and Antique car show as well as the Museum. This is a nice place to visit for the whole family. Check times and dates with the Museum.

Went with a group of senior citizens and everyone had a lovely time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent tour inside and out. Lovely in the spring when all the trees and flowers are blooming. They have a room for children to enjoy with old fashion toys.

As a founding Board member and after 40 years this Children's Historic Museum is what I envisioned. It portrays and houses functional exhibits in the tradition of our Frederick County heritage for young children. It definitely is a must see while visiting Frederick, MD with your children, young and old. There is something for everyone.

Took my niece and nephew ( ages 5 & 2) for the first time. It cost around $21.00 for the three of us. We went on a Sunday afternoon when the Jan Brett exhibit was there. We explored the house on our own. Apparently there was no one giving tours that day and the outer buildings were locked up. There wasn't much to it but, the kids enjoyed it anyway. They got to play with some antique toys and instruments. I would have liked if someone there would've given a tour and/or some history about the house and grounds. A little disappointing and not really worth the money.
