Owner description: Georgia Aquarium is the world's most magical aquarium. Situated near Centennial Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta,Georgia, Georgia Aquarium offers its guests an experience like no other. Across six separate galleries, with more than 70 amazing habitats, 10 million gallons of water and thousands of species of marine animals, guests will marvel at, learn about and come to better understand such majestic aquatic animals as whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, beluga whales, sea otters, African penguins and thousands of species of exotic fish and other animals. The spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show combines incredible natural animal behaviors with dynamic theatrics, a Broadway-inspired musical score and a compelling story, which together underscore the connection between humans and the animal world. The animated "Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow," for all ages, tells an entertaining but important story about conserving and protecting animals and their natural environment. Cafe Aquaria offers delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and delectable desserts. Two gift shops give visitors the chance to take home a treasured collectible. Special animal encounter programs offer the chance to go behind the scenes and come face-to-face with dolphins, sea otters and penguins. Guests can even swim or dive with whale sharks and manta rays in the world's largest aquarium habitat (at 6.3 Million gallons), Ocean Voyager built by the Home Depot. And an onsite parking deck immediately adjacent to the aquarium means quick, easy-to-find and affordable parking.

Went over spring break. I knew it would be crowded, but given prepaid tickets are for time slots- they should limit the numbers more. Granted less revenue-
We loved our visit but it was just so crowded. We had to get to the dolphin show over an hour early! That meant waiting in line for a long time, trying to entertain a child.
Same with sea lion show.

Stopped on our way to Florida with our 2 grandsons. They had a great time. Spent a lot of time in the aquarium tunnel watching the whale sharks. Very educational as well. I would have given 5 stars except that we ate at the aquarium. All I can say about the food is don't bother, eat before or after somewhere else. Other than that we had great time even though it was very busy.

This is a huge place with lots of attractions for everyone from 5 year old to 50, everyone can enjoy here. Especially for kids, this can turn out to be an educational trip. Dolphin show is amazing. Whales are kept really good. Sea lion show is also worth a watch.

We loved our visit to the Georgia Aquarium. We did not research it much, but were pleasantly surprised with the attractions and the unbelievable dolphin show. Sit in rows 1-10 if you’d like to get soaked by the dolphins. The aquarium was very clean and the staff was friendly. My kids especially liked the touch tank experience.

Been here before without children and enjoyed it but when we took our toddlers here during spring break, it was so crowded, we did not have a good time. It was difficult to see exhibits, older children and adults crowded the viewing areas and our little ones couldn’t see much. We were here maybe an hour - definitely was not worth the expensive admission cost. Do not recommend going during “peak” season-a waste of money.
