We met up with some old friends for dinner here on a Friday evening. The restaurant is in a relatively quiet side street with valet parking. The restaurant is in a stand alone building decorated in a clean modern fashion, but not at the sacrifice of comfort. Noise levels even when full we're not terrible. There is a nice bar area where you can eat food or just have a drink. We were seated promptly and let our waitress know that we were not pushed for time. As a result she paced the meal to make it leisurely and very pleasant.
Starters were very tasty with the Octopus for me being a stand out. Slightly spicy but incredibly tender. The steaks run the gamut of cuts but they have a couple of unusual ones and two of us chose a cut that is a part of the ribeye but very tender and incredibly flavorful. It was the most expensive at $50 and I suspect that you would enjoy the hanger steak at half that price if you wished. Personally I do not like Brussels sprouts but my companions ordered them as a side and pronounced them delicious.
We tried the creme caramel for desert and it was delicious as well. The advantage of the restaurant is that it serves other food than steak so our vegetarian companion had a very good pasta dish. Good wine selection, great service overall and a great time was had by all.

We had dinner at KR twice in about 10 days, neither time with a reservation (so they did not have the name). Both times, we had the same server, Kelly. Not only did she remember us, she remembered what we had to drink (and my disappointment about the lack of a pinot grigio by the glass).

The menu seems to change fairly regularly, but every thing we have had there is excellent. The Arancini is excellent as an appetizer. The meatballs are also really good, but a little spicy. Pasta is always cooked perfectly.

An excellent meal. A little expensive, but very much worth it. They need to add a pinot grigio by the glass, though.

So much food and mostly good. I am not a pasta lover but they served some amazing pasta. Steak was good and cooked as ordered. Artichokes were really good. Desserts not all of that. Great service! Full bar.

We have been here a few times. You never know if it is going to be good or bad! Thursday night we decided to go with friends to give it one more try. Believe me we won't be back. First of all we should have put up a red flag as soon as we walked in after 8 PM and the restaurant was empty. It used to be very difficult to get a reservation here.
Our food was barely edible. The oysters tasted like they had been in the cooler and on the plate for hours. The artichoke was fried with no taste at all, pretty gross actually. The pasta that our friends had was the best of all entrees and that was just above passable. We did not have desert as we just wanted to leave and not come back, EVER!
They were out of several different wines which is odd. We should have known then the evening would continue to go down hill.
The highlight of the evening was our server. He was very sweet and friendly and we enjoyed talking to him. I hope he moves on to a better restaurant as it appears this one is on the brink of closing! I am wondering if Kevin Rathbun is even involved in this place any longer? With all of the restaurants in Atlanta I would recommend to stay away!
