Second stay here in the last couple of years. Service is still as excellent as ever. Rooms clean. Very friendly, dedicated and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast and buffet. One negative, the little library in the billiard room (near the dining room) has been reduced in size, with some of the remaining books used as lamp stands (not the best look for a hotel attached to one of the US's most respected intitutions of learning).

We attended a conference here last week. The location is good in a quiet part of town but near to many amenities. The conference facilities were excellent but there were also lots of non-conference guests. The bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and a very nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful! A great buffet spread with superb starters, main courses and desserts. It's time to go on a diet now!

Recently stayed at the hotel for the Aretha Franklin concert.. Check-in was pleasant and super fast! The room was clean and fresh.. We were greated warmly each time we left or arrived at the hotel.. Barnes and Noble is next door and it is a quiet area of town... Loved the front desk staff and snack area for purchasing drinks, snacks and items.. I stay in numerous hotels throughout the year and the Georgia Tech Conference Center definitely left a great impression and I will return! Quiet hotel even though people were buzzing around everywhere! Very tech savvy with lots of computers and area for use in the cozy lobby... Can't wait to return..

Location is everything for a vacation. Only 4 blocks from the North MARTA station, it's a quick 20 min hop to this hotel from the airport. Then, in the vicinity, you can find great restaurants and activities, including the historic Fox theater, all within walking distance. We also walked to the arboretum - a bigger hike. The rooms are well-appointed and modern and you're across from a Walmart, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks and down the street from a Publix. Food and drinks available onsite. One gotcha - if you are like me and get food for the room, the fridge rental is high. We opted for 2 ice buckets instead. The rooms have a safe and internet is provided throughout the conference center. It's a safe and nice location for an Atlanta visit.

Room tip: The rooms near the elevators are actually the quietest. Down the end of the hall (down Spring St), there is a blower that is quite noisy. The same thing happens around the corner where the rooms are facing 5th St. It only affects a few rooms - ask to be away from the blowers. And book early - this hotel can get slammed at various times because of games or conferences.
