We had such a good time at this restaurant! The food was excellent and the service staff made us feel so comfortable. We can’t wait to go back. I expected some missteps because the restaurant is so newly opened, but they obviously brought in experienced people. Definitely the shrimp and grits are exceptional, but I also tried the pork chops and I will have hard time choosing between these next time. I sampled several cocktails and the Henry Chareau was my favorite. I think I have found my new go-to special occasion restaurant and also a reason to look for occasions. Prices are reasonable enough for an anytime meal. Oh, and parking is easy and free!

I went for lunch with a couple of friends on a weekday. Overall, the decor and vibe are friendly and nice. We were seated at a booth and all of us commented that is was very tight and somewhat uncomfortable - and we are all petite. Not sure my 6'1'' husband could even fit in a booth. Probably in an effort to accommodate more seating they sort of shrunk things a bit too much. Also, from my seat I could see straight back to one of the bathroom doors which is unfortunate. I ordered the salad and my friends had sandwiches and we all agreed that the food was pretty good - fresh tasting and a good portion for the money. I'm sure I'll go back as it's located in a great spot at the Phipps.

I remember the first time I ate in Atlanta 30 years ago on a business trip. It was at the Peasant in Phipps Plaza and I was stunned walking into a deserted shopping mall and actually getting a good meal. I was really hoping that the new public kitchen would bring good food back to Phipps. But alas.

May not be fair to judge by one meal a lunch but there was nothing special. The lamburger was pre-formed, had no char and the fig jam was almost invisible. The chicken Philly lacked any ooze and the chicken itself was dry. However I have to say the space itself was lovely now if only the food equaled it
