We were in Atlanta to see Daniel Tiger Live and wanted to make the most of our trip by seeing the Zoo, Children's Museum, Aquarium, and Centennial Park. We debating staying outside the perimiter due to the much higher cost of staying downtown, but it was definitely worth it to be close to all the midtown attractions. Even during the week, traffic wasn't too bad to get from this apartment to anything, as we never had to get on the interstate. We were usually heading back at rush hour, and it would have been terrible to have to sit through rush hour traffic with three young kids after a long day. This location is excellent.
The apartment itself is very nice. I believe the building is newly renovated, and the apartments have nice high end touches. The building has great shared amenities like a business center, saltwater pool (with something like a 6" deep section which was great for our 1 y/o), and fitness center. We stayed in the 2BR model with our three kids under 5. The youngest is still in a pack and play, which we were able to put in the guest walk-in closet, which had a HVAC vent and power for a monitor. It was perfect! And the pack-and-play was included and waiting for us on arrival. The bedrooms and living areas were all nicely done. The apartment is right on the front corner and has floor to ceiling windows. It's nice for looking out and getting a feel for the city, but note that you will get quite a bit or road noise and it's also just below the pool. But you are staying in downtown Atlanta, after all! Overall it's a great apartment in a nice building in a very convenient location.
Stay Alfred (the booking company) also did a good job of taking care of us. The keyfob for the garage had a dead battery (luckily a nice security guard let us in). I called them on a Saturday evening, and Sunday morning someone came by to give us a replacement fob. The arrival and departure instructions were clear, and everything else went smoothly with the stay. Do note that parking is an extra charge over what is shown. It was probably stated in the listing, but I missed it. It's safe and secure garage parking though, so totally worth it if you're driving in to town.
All in all, we had a very enjoyable trip, and you would be hard pressed to find a nicer, more convenient apartment to rent!
My husband and I visited with our two children so we loved having the space of an apartment as opposed to a hotel room. Perfect location and the apartment was gorgeous! Several, huge, floor to ceiling windows overlooking Ponce de Leon Ave. So nice...especially at night! Conveniently located to lots of restaurants and attractions. The kids loved the apartment too. My two year old kept saying, “so cool!!” Haha. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
