There were two of us when we stopped by chance because we saw a board advertising a set menu for €8.50. In the end, we saw that the dishes were only €6, so we thought we'd get one each and split another one. They were huge portions. We had some meatballs in a delicious tomato and onion sauce, some nicely marinated chicken, and some great, traditional chorizo with chips.
The service was very fast, from sitting down to paying was only ~30 mins (we eat too fast!). The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome and looked after.
If I was in the area again, I would definitely make a point of stopping in for more of their tasty and traditional food.

We stopped at this restaurant by chance because the one at la Cueva del Gato was closed, and boy were we happy for this mishap ! We took menus of the day, and the soup and the dish of the day were truly delicious ! Not refined or standard, but authentic food clearly cooked with lots of care and love. On the other hand, the fried fish was much more standard. My advice if you go there is thus to choose the home-made dishes.

We found this by chance when we turned off the A-374 (rather than going into Ronda for lunch). Parking is just off the road outside the restaurant. We chose to sit outside (under cover) to take advantage of the view. We were attended to very quickly and made to feel very welcome. The menu had a good choice of fish, meat, salads etc. and very reasonably priced. The portions were a good size and I was surprised to get vegetables with the main meal (normally its a little bit of lettuce and tomato). When I went inside to pay, I noticed that they do tapas at the bar (very cheap at 0.75c each tapa!). Very friendly establishment.

Ate here recently and the menu del dia was very good. The setting is lovely with the sun streaming down onto the ample terrace. The meal includes a drink so very well priced and good quality. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back!
