The worst hotel I have ever stayed in and as I'm 65 I have stayed in a few. The staff were pleasant and helped as much as they could within their bounds. Moved room eventually after second day as in the original room we needed to keep the curtains closed while dressing as closely overlooked. Room was dark and dingy. Moved to a better room but only the beds appeared to be made, no obvious cleaning done. Hair on the floor, shower tray dirty, sink taps dirty. The pool toilets didn't work and the pool shower was filthy. The food was disgusting. No fruit or vegetables the whole week. Only melon on some days as a starter. We did see a couple of people with apples but couldn't see where they had got them from. Only 2 choices for dinner and both unrecognisable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are on a serious budget and only want bed and breakfast. Definitely not for children. Disappointing experience.

Room Tip: Rooms on outer side of building overlook very noisy road. Inner rooms overlook pool but there is no...

We had already booked our flights for a last minute week long holiday so we just wanted a cheaproblem hotel in a good location (either Bugibba or Qawra). The Euro Club hotel seemed to fit our requirements- although some reviews concerned us!

We had originally booked a triple but plans changed 2 days before arrival and we needed a quadruple. After a brief phonecard with the hotel and then booking.com our booking was changed to a quad

On arrival (about 11pm) we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman on reception (Sonny). There was a difference in payment but unfortunately the gent wasn't sure how to work the card machine. No big deal was made of this and he said we coukd sort it out the following day but we had enough cash to get it settled.

The room was on the ground floor not far from reception. The room was spacious and all the he furniture was in good order. It was clean and all the bedding was fresh. Bathroom was clean and sufficient. Plenty of clean white towels were available and we were provided with individual sachets of shower gel/shampoo and even a small bar of soap - perfect to get through the first morning!

Air con was extra, TV was extra but neither of these were required by us. We never ate in the restaurant (breakfast not included) or drank in the bar. We didn't even use the pool although it looked clean...we are sea people

I haven't been to Malta for over 15 years but in honesty it hasn't changed too much. People are amazing and all the staff at Euro Club were very friendly.

It's rated as a 3 star and it is! Clean, friendly and great location.
Thanks to all xx

After booking euroclub was a bit worried after reading some reviews, some people pay 3* and expect 5* the rooms were basic but cleaned every day and clean towels everyday , enjoyed every min with my family , lovely people always had time to stop and talk , and Harry is a lovely man had time for everyone....this was my 5th time in 2 years in malta stayed in all different hotels /appartments ect, love it and loads of places to eat just outside the hotel, bang in the middle of everything.... waterpark only 10 mins away and bus terminus is around the corner were u can get buses to anywere on the island , 21 euros for a weekly pass well worth the money... I'm sure one day we will b back to the euroclub...

We booked then read the reviews and we became horrified. We arrived and it wasn't bad at all, the services was great, rooms were clean and it's in a great location.

Euroclub is so much cheaper then majority of its competitors so of course it's not going to give you a 5 star feeling so take that in consideration before having a whinge.

The only thing that was a little annoying is you had to pay extra for the aircon, makes me laugh seeing all the complaints about the TV remote , your on holidays get out of the room.

I spent 2 weeks in Euroclub "hotel" with my fiance as our romantic engagement trip, but after checking in to the hotel there was no romance left. I am a very experienced traveler from 5-star hotels to Couch-surfing rooms, and I've never been in such poor quality hotel with such low standards. The gap between photos on booking.com and reality is huge - expectation management is my biggest problem with this place.

If you think you will only be spending night in the hotel when choosing a cheaper option - it's a lie! You will spend more time in the room due to heat, needed rest, romance (*wink*) and other circumstances. So choose wisely.

- Location was great - hotel was allocated in convenient distance to the bus station, both beaches and all city infrastructure.
- Cleaning was done regularly (even tho its quality is highly questionable).

- We paid around 60 euros per night, but considering that breakfast, air conditioner, TV, pool and wifi costs extra plus you have to buy your own toiletries, it easily becomes 80-90 euros per night which is so far from what it's worth. Pure robbery!
- It seemed like hotel management just doesn't care about improving this place or making it a bit more comfortable for visitors - indifference is visible everywhere: no hooks in the bathroom to hang your stuff, 1 socket for entire room, dirty yellow toilet and sink, poor water pressure, squeaky beds, lack of toiletries, cockroaches etc.
- I'd gone to the receptionist a few times asking for assistance/information, but they were always quite rude having a "I don't give a damn" attitude.
- Do not pay for breakfast - it's not worth the money. The assortment of food was poor, and ingredients didn't seem that fresh.

If you would like to have a lovely time in Malta, please avoid Euroclub hotel.
