Probably the only restaurant in Staffal: Da Giovani's is a pub, with excellent food; rest are hotels with varying quality food though none as good.
Service was great, sea bass was presented and then skinned and boned at the table, Steaks were good, pasta all home made. We had 2 visits, our second visit they were a lot busier, probably as visitors all returned after eating at other places (this nad Giovanni's are the best meals).

Thank David S

Seafood was really disappointing. We ordered for hot dishes scallops and seafood plate. It was impossible to eat since it is cooked on oil that is not fresh at all - there must be many dishes cooked on the same oil before my seafood plate. Moreover in the menu the seafood dish stated as grilled and it shouldn’t has been cooked on oil at all. The scallops were also overcooked and lost it’s taste. We haven’t tried any Italian food here like pasta, pizza - maybe it is much better.
It is lack of menues - so you have to wait until another table makes an order and then it is your turn to see a menu. IMHO it is weird but you decide if it’s important for you)
Btw tuna tar tar was good but too salty to my taste (but it may be my personal taste opinion). Very fresh and I would advise to order it.
Service is not too fast but didn’t take too long. Rather friendly service.

Sitting right by the ski lifts this restaurant is a great place for breakfast, lunch and surprisingly a romantic dinner.
On the groundfloor you will find your usual Italian breakfast bar and behind that a perfect lunch option where you can sit with your skiboots on. On the first floor overlooking the station there is a very good restaurant with wonderful Sardinian food and wine. It is cosy up there offering also pizzas so you can manage your budget well.

Very nice staff and very delicious food. Came there accidentally, but we were very happy with the outcome. The price we paid for 6 persons was below 65 eur (5 pizzas, 1 schnitzel, wine, coca cola). Would recommend to everybody.
