I stayed at the Villa for 5 days as part of an art group. We had an absolutely wonderful time, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

The Villa rooms were very spacious, clean, with comfy pillows and blankets. My view was spectacular overlooking the valley. The Villa itself is just across the road from a really cool castle. Our stay included a self serve breakfast consisting of freshly made croissants, cakes, eggs, cereal, and a variety of fruits and yogurt. Lunch was way more than I am used to eating and supper consisted of several courses, wine and yummy desserts.

We used the art building during our stay. The director arranged for several art classes for us and special tours. She even provided translation for one of the instructors. The whole feel and ambiance of the Villa is wonderful. Such warm and giving people who work at this place.

In talking with the owner I know that they have a lot of functions at the Villa, including weddings, art retreats, business conferences and other things. They certainly have the facilities for lots of different functions.

The only negative is WiFi is not great. I can't really fault the Villa for this however, I found out that is a problem throughout Italy, so be prepared if this is an issue for you.

Room Tip: I saw several of the rooms and although I have my favorites, they are all quite nice.

I recently spent 8 days at the Vasta family villa with 37 others! This is an experience that you will not find in a commercial hotel in Metropolitan areas! The rooms are very comfortable, the service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding! Be sure to go to the website to view the grounds, I could never do it justice in trying to describe it! I have returned many times, and you will want to also! They treat everyone like family!

Room Tip: Rooms with a view!

We spent a night here for Umbria Jazz and it is a perfect location if you want to enjoy music, staying in a peaceful countryside villa.
The Villa is in front of a medieval castle and close to the small medieval village of Corciano, sleepy during Umbria Jazz festival but very sparkling in other occasions like spring festival, eurochocolate and christmas.
The villa is beautiful and run by a special family of artists. Rossella is such a special guest and her mother is the perfect lady in charge. Sweet and charming.
Rooms are spatious and cosy, with clean private bathroom.
Suggested for short/middle breaks, the villa is also equipped for training and educational initiatives, as it has a strong partnership with american universities for educational exchanges programms.
15 minutes by car to Perugia and right in the beautiful silence of the Umbria's most vivid countryside.
We will miss this silence and the great welcome of the owners.

Everyone at the villa is friendly, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable. You will be greeted with open arms and a delicious meal. And if you're vegetarian/vegan or gluten-free, fear not! The kitchen staff, not only incredibly talented, will accommodate your dietary needs! If you're visiting as a school, your Italian classes will not only be informative but also fun and laid back. The country house includes rooms for all sorts of activities, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. I could not recommend this place more, especially for school groups, but also for people who just want to get away. After one night, you will feel like family. Five stars!

This 14th Century Villa is a step back in time. It offers wonderful rooms, exquisite vistas, fabulous food and a legitimate castle across the street. However, it is the ministrations of the Vasta family and their staff that make this an extraordinary getaway. Villa Pieve is also their home, and they will welcome you as family and ensure that all your needs are met. Ask them for suggestions and they will help you find the most wonderful, off-the-beaten track places to visit. Or just sit with them and soak in the serenity and history of one of the most beautiful places on earth.
