Il Lebbio was incredibly beautiful and ideally located for those wanting a peaceful country setting but to be close enough to amazing places to visit and lovely reataurants to eat at.
Daniela and her team were extremely welcoming and literally nothing was too much for the gardener/handyman/pizza-chef Giorgio, who was ready to sort out any issues no matter how small.
The swimming pool is lovely and we enjoyed helping ourselves to apricots from the trees outside our house.
A couple of things to be aware of - at this time of year it seems to attract people with very small children which may or may not be your thing. As you are in the country, don't be surprised to hear the sound of barking dogs or farm machinery, either.
The second thing to know is that, while the kitchens are well appointed with pots, pans etc, do not expect to find even the culinary basics of salt and pepper in your apartment. I am used to turning up to find these items & maybe coffee and oil left by prior holidaymakers, and I will always leave these supplies myself for the next person, but that is not the case here. I'm not sure if this is normal for this type of accommodation, but having stayed for the rest of our trip in air bnbs, we became used to having these basics available.
One suggestion I might make to Daniela would be to put in mosquito nets at the windows, as I was kept awake every single night by the repetitive buzzing of mosquitoes, which I couldn't eliminate, as the incredible heat over this period required open windows.
Other than these tiny niggles, we would 100% recommend Il Lebbio to anyone, and we would definitely stay again if returning to Tuscany.
