Recommend for Children about 8 years and younger. We went on a weekday, which was a benefit as I'm sure it's crowded on weekends. I would recommend that older family members not pay and just sit at a table in the lobby. You can't see the kids play, but it's a good way to save money. Children loved it!

The museum has multiple small play areas that really help kids use their imaginations while also teaching life skills. There is a separate area just for kids under 3 which allows the younger kids to go at their own pace. The staff is friendly and do a great job!

I came in expecting it to be a nostalgic museum for children artifacts, but it was a modern museum full of interactive and educational exhibits for kids. $1 off with military ID. There is a small gift shop that sells mostly educational toys.
