A local recommended this place. It is a bar dedicated to fire fighters. We had the best smoked wings we have ever had. They were tender and cooked to perfection. No need for any sauce. The pulled pork was tender, juicy and flavorful. The rib fell off the bone. The Brisket was good but a little dry. The chicken was dry. I would stick to the ribs and the pork. The BBQ sauce was so good we purchased a quart to take home. It is vinegary in a tomato base. Our server was Jemal and he was excellent...he gave us great tips. We had the green beans which were peppery and delicious.

Perfect! Feels like you are walking into an old firehouse! From the firetruck as the back wall of the bar, to the tools and photos of local firefighters on the walls.....The food is fantastic and the beer is cold!!

My husband and I went to lunch at Halligan's while in Short Pump for the first time recently. The atmosphere is so neat and very well taken care of.
The manager must have overheard me ask for recommendations since it was out first visit, so he surprised us with a small sample of 3 meats and 3 sides....All of which were excellent!! We decided on the brisket sandwich with fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies to split. We ate every last bight!!

Will definitely return; thanks for the taster!! The chicken is next on the list to order!

My wife and I come to Richmond a few times a year to get away. We stay close to The Bottom, but have never come into this place. What a nice surprise. Shamus was there, and was very nice and helpful. We tried a few new beers that were on tap, at his recommendation. We had the nachos, and they were awesome. All in all a great eating and drinking experience. Did I mention the left side of a real fire truck is mounted on the rear wall of the place. Unbelievable how much fire fighting memorabilia is crammed into this place. A must visit if you are near the train station.

Great food and awesome employees. Nice bar especially for firemen to visit. Bring a patch or fire license plate for the wall
