It's family run restorant. Only family: father is capo, mama runs the kitchen (with her sister and daughter), one son is head waiter, and one is pizzaiolo (pizza maker). Grand children are waiters. So, expect honest local home cooking. Nothing fancy. Just delicious home cooking. We have dinner here 3 times, with different dishes each time. All dishes were good, some were really good. Like perfectly grilled sea bream (pesci arrosto alla marinara), al dente cooked malloredus, soft mustazzolos, tasty spaghetti alla pescatore, crunchy calamari fritti and delicious sebades. Risotto alla pescatore was to dry for my taste, but still good. Culurgiones were also very good, but they always arrived before all other dishes, so I thing they are prepared in advance., but a must anyway. Tagleirini alla nero di seppia were (just) good, since they were once under salted and second time a little bit 'glewy'. Still tasty though. Antipasto misto affettato (cold cuts) also very good. Skip dolce sardo and go for cheese plate.
So, ro sum it up, very good home cooking, with great friendly service and homely atmosphere, Da Angelo is a place not to be missed. A must!
