The beautiful garden couldn’t been nicer. Just fantastic and we never saw anything like it. So much flowers, trees and birds singing. The only negative was that our room was very old and had a bad smell of fungus. This room really should be restaurant. We saw other rooms that really were much better after restauration. The food also could have been better. A bit simple, we thought.
It was very nice to walk by the sea where there were beaches and restaurants.

Great location opposite the beach. Large rooms. Very nice grounds. Relaxed traditional feel. Beautiful indoor guest lounge. Perfect outdoor loggia for outdoor breakfast and evening dining overlooking the sea. Fantastically personal service from the manager and staff. Loved our stay here!

A beautifull location, beachfront and a helpfull and attentive staff on the majority.
Im not sure if the rates corresponds to the structure and facilities encountered.
The room is a bit old, with a small tube tv from the 90's (14 inch).
The main flaw in my opinion is the advertisment of dinner included in the rate. There's a very nice menu but if your dinner is included you actually got like 2 options that the manager asks you and that's it. By the way these options are not so good and you don't even got the chance to choose from the menu if its your desire.
Just think this matter must be cleared before you book it thinking you will got a good meal.
Another small problem is the bees. The hotel appears to be in some type of problem with a hive because in the breakfast, everyday, appears like millions bees that even eat your scrambled eggs (not kidding, they really do).
Well, its not a bad place, I just think that for that price maybe there are better options.

We stayed at Cosa Dorada for three nights. Staff were reasonable hospitable and some of the communal areas of hotel were nice. However the room was terrible. The hotel room was very outdated and was not maintained (i.e. the side table was falling off the wall). We were unable due to it being very hot and there being old air conditioning units that barely worked. My boyfriend and I had to sleep apart as there we two single beds pushed together that kept separating...I actually fell through the beds the first night while sleeping! It was definitely worth anything close to the price we paid. Camping would have been better.

My family and I have been at Hotel Costa Dorada approximately eight times and I guess that pretty much says everything. The rooms are very charming and furnished in a typical Sardinian style. From the outside the hotel is covered in plants that gives it a fantastic and very charming look! The best thing has to be the WONDERFUL terrace overlooking the sea where you can enjoy a nice breakfast and excellent local food and wine for dinner. Owner Mr. Alessio Mulas who speaks almost any language and his very service-minded staff will take good care of you! Situated right next to the beach and good public parking opportunities, this is the perfect hotel for your stay in Cala Gonone. We are already planning to visit Hotel Costa Dorada again!
