“Stunning villa in the heart of beautiful Bosa”

Our group booked our holiday to Sardinia on a whim, with the only expectation of beautiful September Mediterranean sun. Our Lonely Planet directed us to the west coast, and the charming and historic descriptors sold Bosa as a must visit destination. They weren't wrong.

Bosa is a beautiful town, with a charming offering of great bars and restaurants, all walkable from the very conveniently located, Dommu Asuletta. A stones-throw from the river, and a mere ten minute stroll from the local beach, the villa is ideally located off Bosa's central piazza and at the foot of the Castello - so offers a fantastically central location without the bustle of the tourist crowds (the best restaurant we went to is quite literally around the corner from the villa!)

The villa is stunning. Immaculate, cool, and finished to a very high-spec. The beds are very comfortable, and the facilities - especially in the kitchen - exceptional. The highlight of the property is the wonderful roof terrace that leads from the kitchen, we couldn't get enough of this space and view, having watched many a sunset from there! The villa is a real home from home experience, kitted out with a range of DVDs, board games, and beach equipment - making the experience even more personal and special.

Greg was a fantastic host, and gave us great insights into the area before we left London. Very hassle-free communication, but we knew he was only ever a call or e-mail away if we needed him.

Fabulous accommodation in a fabulous town. We look forward to re-visiting in the future.

We spent a week at this fantastic little Hobbit house - Dommu Asuletta. @This house has so much charm and character, and is situated in a prime location in Bosa old town, with the bars, restaurants and one of our favourites - Ice Dream. The food and wine, and coffee was sublime - we will definately return one day. Thank you to Greg for all your help and advice. Kay and Denis

“Wonderful house of character in the historical heart of Bosa”

We all very much enjoyed our week in Bosa. Highlights were: market day, particularly the amazing local Torrone, views from the castle (despite the rain!), great local restaurants (Sa Pishedda, Ponte Vecchio, Sant Ignazio & Estroo), favourite beach was S'abba Druche. As regards the house, can only agree with all said by previous reviewers and a big thank you to Greg for all information and advice provided. Unfortunately we did have a couple of days where the weather was not so good but still found plenty of things to do and the dart board came in very useful. The house is very well equipped and we loved it.

We had a fabulous time in Bosa. The house is in a great location, vegetable shop, bakery, fish shop, butchers, restaurants, everything right on your doorstep so you can enjoy great food out or on the roof terrace.
The narrow streets and traditional houses are picture perfect. The beaches are beautiful.
A true Italian experience.

“Beautiful house in a fascinating and friendly part of Sardinia”

The house is amazing, built on five floors with a terrace at the top which looks out over the rooftops of the town. It retains a sense of its medieval history in the old stone steps, low doorways and impressively thick stone walls.

We stayed at Dommu Asuletta for 10 days in early July with our two daughters, aged 11 and almost 13. It was so wonderfully central, we could stroll out in the mornings and buy cakes and bread from the bakery round the corner. And we could lean out of the windows or stand on the little balconies and watch the world go by. I loved lying in bed listening to the sing-song Italien voices of the neighbours.

We found amazing beaches both north and south of Bosa, one which was quite an intrepid adventure to get to, but worth the effort (it was empty). One of the highlights of the holiday for me was listening to the a tenore choir in Bosa, sitting in their little cavern-like room with a glass of Malvasia (the local wine). Everyone we met was so relaxed and friendly.

Greg and Helen were helpful and patient with all our questions before the trip and I'd definitely recommend Dommu Asuletta to others. Our daughters said it was the best holiday they'd had!
