i have to say the quality is great but the prices are outragous! i was sitting with my son at a communal table so no service etc..which is fine been going for years...i looked over an observed an apple pie was well over $25 dollars for something not that big..i was thinking...apples are in season and what can you do to a simple recipe to warrant the price....the sandwichs are good but overpriced.... realized there are other local choices are much better prices for comparible quality

Enjoyed the variations of brioche. Delicious, as were the other baked items we tried. Friendly staff. Long way from Harvard Square.

Check prices when you order, and again before you hand them your card, the amount they overcharge may shock you. If they make a 'mistake', expect denial, rudeness and the owner to come out and shout at you. The tuna was old, the vegetables limp, the bread greasy. The floors and tables are not clean. Oh, and expect the order to have at least one mistake, getting your order right does not interest the servers any more than the owner. The menu looks good but sauces and dressings taste stale. Bread okay, but seriously over priced. There are dozens of local lunch cafes that have better food, nicer seating and faster, more pleasant servers. It's aptly named, but the high rise comes in the difference between the published price and the one we found on the receipt.

Amazing bakery, wonderful ambiance, delicious sandwiches, but all at a premium price. The only drawback here is how expensive it is. Occasionally I would treat myself to a lunch here and I would walk away with a delicious sandwich and a coffee, and $15 less in my pocket.

Everything i have ever had here is scrumptious!! From the amazing variety of fabulous hand crafted with love breads, to the creative and oh so yummy desserts, to the huge[ easily big enough for two] sandwiches. This is wonderful food made with beautiful fresh ingredients, by people who love food!!! You can't go wrong here.
