So then the place called Inman square in short. Its on the border of Massachusetts,Summerville and Cambridge . Its near to Harvard and MIT attracting students & professors. Many restaurants serving delicious sea food and varied dishes have sprouted after 2000.

Irish Gastro Pubs, Trendy Burger Bars, Legendary BBQ, Diner, Asian, Pizza, Etc. Live Jazz at Ryles, Coffee at the 1369. Inman square is off the beaten path a little, but you can visit it and Union Square in Somerville, and have a blast eating and drinking the day/night away and never see the rest of Cambridge if you wanted something new to do. Take the Red Line to Central Square and walk about 1/2 mile (5 blocks) Not much to see in between, unless you want to walk up to Harvard Square (a great walking tour actually!)

Based on a Boston Globe write up we had to try Wu Burger, offering fried chicken on Sundays. Hope this isn't just a summer trial. Pick from 3 heat intensities of chicken, choose white or dark meat. Sides are set: slaw ( unbelievably good) potato salad (they were out of it so we had waffle fries) pickles. I got the traditional fried chicken; but even it had some "heat". My husband ordered the middle heat intensity; it was very spicy! Can't imagine the most spicy chicken! Great bar menu too. For dessert home made ice cream sandwiches. We had wonderful attention from staff (Ian and Taylor). Even had the owner, Deepak, checking in to be sure everything was ok. Take me home country road...we will be back again!

I live just south of Inman Square in Central square, but I often go to Inman Square because it has great restaurants and a different vibe from where I live. Some great places to check out are Tupelo, Puritan and Company, The Druid, and a little further east is the best seafood place in Boston: New Deal Seafood.

We had a nice time in this area. The shopping was unique, the food was great and the neighborhoods were safe.
