The hotel was very clean and yet comforting/warm.
The rooms are of good size, as well as the bathrooms.
The restaurant was great- fantastic steaks and lamb. The service we got was wonderful!! The area is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, lots of sheep, cows, and ducks.
There was a hot tub however we didn't use it during our stay.
You can buy some really nice handmade/traditional gifts in the restaurant which was a lovely change from the generic made in China products you're more likely to find elsewhere.
We were lucky enough to see the northern lights, partly due to the incredible and tranquil setting of the hotel.
Wonderful stay- would definitely recommend !!

A welcoming and comfy place to stay on the ring road. Farm location with pigs, ducks and sheep to see. Food was surprisingly good. We had been told vegetarians had poor pickings in Iceland out of Reykjavik but here (and other places) there was a better choice than in England. Food was fresh and plenty of choice, nicely cooked and presented. Room and shower room spacious. Yes, sound insulation poor, this was the only minus point.

We ate a lot of Icelandic food on our trip and were ready to try something we could get at home. We were pleasantly surprised that the burger came on homemade bread and it was amazing. A must try for burger lovers!

A friend and I stayed here for two nights during a week long road trip. At first it didn't seem like it was conveniently located to the Peninsula (the location is fine), but it ended up being our favorite place. The reception and restaurant staff were all very friendly. The rooms are smaller, but very nice. They are decorated in a farmhouse style. (Which makes sense, since this is a farm) The water was hot with good pressure. The wi-fi worked well. They have a hot water heater in the room so you can take hot water on the road with you. The hot tubs are the best. They feel nice and hot and they have a great view of the little water falls on property. When we were there, there were two adorable, naughty little lambs (one black and white) who were running all over the place. They were so cute. They went where ever they pleased and even tried to follow us to our room. If the had been a little cleaner, I might have snuck one in my suitcase to bring home. The breakfast was nice with great bread (they have one homemade bread with a hard crust and super soft inside-that was just out of the oven - it was heaven) they also have meats, cheeses, jams, yogurt and french toast.
