“Relaxing scenery”
Reviewed 3 August 2010

This spot in north-western part of Greece is of unparalleled beauty!
There are around 15 different beaches and smaller or bigger bays in a total coastal distance of 10 kms that can keep you there for the whole summer! My favorite one was that of Ag. Paraskeyi 6 kms south from Sivota village. A small bay in the shape of W with a small island at the front fully covererd with trees.
Other gorgeous beaches include those of Bella Vraka, Mega Drafo, DEH beach and the small bay of Karvouno just before Bella Vraka on the right hand.
The whole area is amazingly relaxing, with top layer beaches and green-transparent crystal clear waters!
The place is ideal for switching off "the engines" after an overloaded working winter.
However, the small village of Sivota is not there to offer nightlife sessions as there are only a couple of bars of modest aesthetics.
Last but not least the neighbouring village of Perdika offers the most breathtaking view and sunset of the whole area!

“what a little gem”
Reviewed 25 September 2008

We had just one perfect week in Sivota, although it was very hot.
There was just enough to keep us busy, and all in all we really enjoyed it,so much so we will definately return. There were many restaurants and cafe bars and so could go to a different one each night. The hotel Mourtemeno was basic and could be improved in many areas, but it was quiet enough [except for some local building work ].The closest beach was fine, and was good for swimming, with only one taverna. The boat trip to Paxos is a must,if you havent been [take your bikini for a swim stop].The shopping there is wonderful, and so are the tavernas.

“Summer holiday in Sivota”
Reviewed 26 September 2007

My holiday in Sivota Thesprotia, was the best place to be, for a
young but tired business-couple, A mixed combination of green scenery, deep blue sea water and hospitality.
We spent everyday in a different beach, Mega Ammos, of course, the best beach of all, though the Italian visitors from the Hotel nearby, made the difference in the beach with their noise.
Torre a Mare a fun place, water slides and beautiful view from
the pool, and late at night the club was great to have a drink and
enjoy the moon reflection on the sea water.
There was a book exhibition on the village port and we liked it a lot.
We also visited Perdika, with the nice tavernas and traditional Greek food.
Egnatia Odos made our way back to Ioannina faster and we discovered some picturesque small villages along it,
with the houses being hidden behind the fir trees.

“Peaceful and beautiful”
Reviewed 25 June 2007

If you want to get away from the usual crowd
Then try Sivota. You need to book a flight to
Preveza, then a car and it’s an easy drive of about
60 miles to Sivota. There are loads of beaches
And the mayor says that sun beds should be free.
The port is delightful and you should visit Blue Coast
For an excellent meal, at a very reasonable price.

If you want somewhere special to stay, try
Villa Polyzeni, up a very steep hill, but with
Wonderful views of the port. There are 2 studios
2 apartments and rooms which have been renovated
This year. You would go a long way to find anything
Quite as good in Greece. You will made to welcome by
Ari and Katja and their family. www.sivota.dk
