Serving a wave of dozens of hungry tourists is a challenge, especially in Greece where dinner can be much longer than most places in Europe. So the Georgios family are pros!

On top of the amazingly friendly service and great laughs with the owner, the food was superb. The beef Stifado that the mother makes was delicious to the point that whole table binged from my plate. Also make sure not to miss out on the shrimps saganaki which was served in a really tasty red sauce.

This is definitely a place to mark on your map and get back to. We will!!

When stopping off in Mourtos we usually visit Georgios restaurant. It is always great. Service and food are wonderful. Try the fried prawns they are so sweet and tasty. This restaurant never fails to please. We hope this continues to be our taverna of choice we really think it will.

We ate at Georgios twice during our stay, as it's one of the few tavernas in Sivota with a large indoor area in case of bad weather. We went one night when it rained, and another when it was very windy, and it was extremely crowded because many of the other restaurants were too open-air for comfort! However, despite the crowds the food and service were good, if a little frenetic (lots of shouting - but it all added to the atmosphere!) The stifado was excellent, as was the lamb cooked in the oven. Perhaps not the most relaxing meals we've had, but still very enjoyable!

We went there for lunch st about 3pm.

We had starters, tzatziki made o. Full fat greek yoghurt and greek salat and two types of brass as main course.
It was made of fresh produce, the fish wad served grilled and were really good.
Drinks was bottled water and greek beer.
Service was good, prices very affordable for what it was €40 in total. We will go there again.

Service was very good and we really enjoyed our meal. Would have given an excellent rating if the food had been hotter instead of just warm.
