Orso was a very good venue to go to dinner with a fairly large size party while on a recent trip to Anchorage. I had a great steak that was a special and enjoyed it very much. Not the fastest service in the world but friendly and they have an extensive wine list to compliment any dining choice.

Great food, and lots of creativity. They make some unique items as well as interpretations on classics. A fine place to go!

First I'll start with the fact that we showed up 20 minutes early and they were friendly and accommodating in getting us a table. The waiter was very knowledgeable and extremely nice. I enjoyed a tall glass of Mascato with our appetizer (sampler) loved the calamari! My boyfriend ordered some sort of steak and it was good, but even after he took a bite of my lamb shank he was raving how delicious it was!! The waiter told us that over the years many items have changed on the menu but this is one item that will remain. Next time I will order the cheesy potatoes with the dish, as my boyfriend had some with his steak and would have made a perfect pairing with my dish. We will be back!

Don't believe everything you read. Service was very good. Much better than expected. Appetizer menu was too. I was served within 15 minutes of ordering food. Sitting at the bar was great, except whoever..designed the place failed to leave enough room for the walkways. But deal with it. Its worked for many years now. At Happy hour prices I left having eaten the Flatbread and 3 small beers for under $20.
