Marseillan Ville is a gem
The quirky houses of the old town with their spiral staircases are great fun.
The design of the middle (living) floor was perfect with french windows opening from the kitchen onto the roof terrace. An ideal arrangement for eating outside. The kitchen was fully furnished with all the equipment you could want . When one was not inspired to cook there are many restaurants within easy walking distance.
The garage was particularly welcome, our elderly subaru sqeezed in without difficulty.
We really enjoyed our holiday in Marseillan, a great area and such a lovely house to stay in. The house has everything you need, very comfortable and clean, and we especially enjoyed our wine on the terrace on an evening. Excellent location, close to town centre with market on a Tuesdays and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Would definitely return!

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Fleur de Lys, Marseillan. The house was comfortable, clean, well equipped and being in the middle of the old town a great location.. Having the garage to park the car was an added bonus. We ate at the O Soleil, La Luna, La Taverne du Port and La Pacheline. All the restaurants were situated down at the picturesque port ( a short stroll ) and staff in the restaurants were friendly, patient and helpful with our limited(very limited) French. Oh mustn't forget all the wonderful bakeries!
We enjoyed visits to Cirque de Navacelles, Roquebrun , Lagrasse, Pezenas & Marseillan Plage(eastside, much quieter)
We will definitely be back next year
Had a superb holiday in Marseillan. Super house with everything you could wish for. The BBQ and the bikes were an added bonus. Plenty of places to eat and at reasonable prices. Very friendly locals.
My wife and I escaped the snow and cold of central France to stay in Ron and Mairi's Vignerone town house in Marseillan. We were very comfortable for the 6 weeks of our stay finding the house conveniently situated very close to the centre of town in easy reach of shops, supermarkets bakers bars and restaurants. The house is well equiped and suprisingly spacious with a wood burning stove which kept the whole house warm during the comparitively cool evenings. The town itself is a delight, everything accessible on foot and the views over the etang to Sete and Cap Agde are stunning. I would not hesitate to reccommend the house and location to all.
