One of the only west-coast schools to boast a beautiful big campus of traditional brick/Gothic architecture in a large, accessible city with good public transportation.

It is definitely rainy for > 6 months a year, but it is beautiful, we’ll-funded and highly ranked. It also is #1 (2017) for cities where graduates find jobs.

Well worth a visit. The light rail takes one from the airport to the University and many central locations in the city.

UW is a gorgeous campus with many activities nearby. New architecture mixed with old. My kids and I walk through the campus all the time to get to the light rail station. We explore buildings all the time.

I came upon the campus from the west and was underwhelmed as the building seemed to have been built in the 60s and 70s and were a bit dated. However soon I made it to the main part of the campus which had classic building that reminded me of Wash U in St Louis and Harvard in their style and design. The fountain area was lovely and open and the walk down to the bridge was lovely. I got to see the Huskies’ Stadium as I walked by too

The cherry blooms were beautiful, and we enjoyed walking around the buildings. These are some of the nicest university grounds I've ever seen. All the pathways are lovely, with lots if blooms., and with benches to sit, and just soak it all up. Definitely come see the Yoshino tree blossoms. They were beautiful. And bring your camera

The campus was absolutely breath taking and it was very interesting to find that it was a little north of downtown Seattle, like it’s own little city. The purpose was for a college tour, and the tour was very informative. You can sign up for tours of the university website.
