You cannot sit closer to the sea eating delicious fish tacos and sipping Mai tai. They also serve the best coffee we had on the island. It was our favorite breakfast place during our stay and we loved going in the evenings as well as the have live music.

In Kona for my wedding with a party of 9 and we started every day with a delicious latte and breakfast here. It is just the right place to wake up to the beautiful surroundings of Kona.

I just spent a week in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I found Java on the Rock the very first morning and it was love at first taste! Not only are their cappuccinos good but they make their own scones every morning. I really liked their Blueberry with Lemon Zest scone! The plus is that they open earlier than all the other espresso places in the area. They open at 6am. I look forward to our next trip to Kona!

Went for breakfast to meet a local friend - It was his suggestion for a nice meeting place with good food.
He was very correct in his choice. The coffee choices are really good - they have their own pretty cool coffee recipes. We tried a few and they are really good.
We had Beagles and some egg with cheese and sausage burrito items - all very yummy.
This restaurant is open air and sits just about right on the beach/harbor. An amazing experience to say the least. Can't wait to go back ...

We went here on a recommendation from a friend. The location of the cafe is awesome. It's right on the rocks on the beach. You sit in the sand while you eat which is kind of cool. The food is basically a choice of seven omelets with a bagel or croissant. My wife and I spent a little over $40 for two three egg omelets and two coffees. The food was good, but for what you get it is very expensive.
