Gorgeous beach with great surf and lovely rock pools. The water is clean and older kids love it. This can get very busy as it’s a small beach. Can sometimes be tricky to get in if sand is washed away as there are lots of rocks.

Rented a place from Vrbo think it was unit 1199986, first unit was fabulous lovely, clean, fully stocked with utensils, towels even beach chairs and umbrella. Was told there is a path right to the beach it sure was easy about a two minute walk to magic sands beach. Spent every day sitting on the beach body boarding, and reading good books. Nicest part was when we were done we walked the two minutes back and our studio has a really beautiful outdoor shower for two with hot and cold water, never did use the indoor shower but it was very beautiful. Will for sure be back and rent this same place again as it was very quiet, clean, safe and owners even took us out fishing and swimming with dolphins on their lovley boat.

Nice and convenient beach to downtown Kona but can get crowded quickly. Parking is on the road or down the street at a public lot.

This is a very small beach park with limited parking. Be sure to get there early if you want to park and get a nice place to lay on the beach, very popular place located very close to downtown Kona.
