We travelled to Croatia with 19 teenagers in the off-season of March. The owner was kind enough to open the museum for us and offer to 'lay out some bread'. We were stunned by the kindness and generosity we received. The 'bread' turned out to be homemade bread with three types of homemade jellies, two varieties of tapenade, prosciutto, salad, juice, and homemade sheep cheese - a feast that our teens raved about. The owner did a wonderful job explaining how the press works and his family's history with the site. This is clearly a passion for him and his family. It was an honor to get to experience the results of the hard-work he has previously put and continues to put into restoration. Definitely a worhwhile venture.

An amazing experience! I went with a school group and most of the island’s restaurants were closed, so we weren’t able to find lunch anywhere. When we visited the museum, the owner prepared a full meal for us, (about 25 people). The museum was cute and authentic and the food was amazing! I left with some great olive oil and fog jam.

We came in the off season, and Kruno was kind enough to open up and meet us anyway. He showed us both the new and old ways of making olive oil. Even let us push the old mill! Easier than it looked. Finished with a tasting of different olive oils and fig jam. Educational and yummy visit!

Muzej uja - Museum of olive oil
The grandson tells you the history of the place, and you know that the first owner of this little factory were his grandparents. Great family! ❤️
I recommend to eat there. They have very delicious home made foods.
Must see.
