“Great find in 29 Palms”

Very casual atmosphere at this local cafe. Friendly waitstaff, reasonable prices and large portions. Our order was more than we could finish - but made a great picnic lunch the next day. The crab cakes and yucca root fries were delicious - both off the starter portion of the menu. We decided to split one entree of Cilantro Lime Chicken. It came with rice and black beans. The chicken was perfectly grilled and yummy. With a glass of wine each, our bill came to just $50. The next time we're in town, we'll be sure to stop in at Mojave Moon Cafe!

Very good menu for a coffee shop. I had the rice taco, an Okinawa delight (if you have ever been stationed there!) Friendly atmosphere and good service.

My family and I had a great experience. It is a local shop and it showed. It was our first time in the area and the staff was personable, kind, helpful, and enthusiastic.

It was also nice that 10% of their desert revenue goes to the Too Sweet foundation.

It's a good thing we had GPS or we never would have found this place. The lights were dim outside, and the sign was hard to read. On a Friday night, the restaurant was half full. After looking at the website, which features the chef, we expected great things, and we a bit disappointed. We both had the Portobella sandwich. It was a novel take on Portabellas. with sauteed onions and peppers, along with melted cheese. it was tasty, but the only problem was that everything slid off the sandwich when we tried to pick them up, so we ate them with a knife and fork. Some of the other menu choices looked like weird combinations to us, like a grilled cheese and crab cake combination. As I said, we expected more, and so we're rating it "Just OK".

Excellent wait staff, friendly and efficient. Nice menu for small town restaurant. Modern with artistic decor selling local art. Good food, quality and preparation, definitely worth a drop in.
