We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children (14 + 11) staying Half Board. The room size was ample with two double beds and a large sofa bed.
The breakfast buffet was very good with a selection of hot and cold offerings. Hot and cold drinks were available free all day along with a selection of cakes in the afternoon. This was very handy when arriving back after a long walk.
The evening meals were also very good and were exactly what was needed after a long day sightseeing.
We found the staff to be friendly and very helpful at all times. As an added bonus, this hotel provides you with the 'Kaprum-Zell Summer Card' which is an absolute must for summer visitors. It allows you free entry into all the main local attractions e.g cable car rides, lake trips etc. It saves you a lot of money. Only a few hotels in Zell offer this FREE card to guests.
The hotel is located next to the main Zell cable cars. The views from the hotel are amazing and the hotel is very quiet even though it felt quite full.
Should we decide to return to Zell in the future, we would certainly look to stay at the Daxer.

Had an enjoyable week at the Daxer. Room was of a good standard, well kept and maintained. I enjoyed the food, decent breakfast, and the evening meals were of a very good standard. Handy ski room to keep your boots and skis/boards.Friendly staff, who will do their best to help.

recently stayed here for a week, and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. Lovely gardens and view down to the lake, the hotel was spotless and the room comfortable. The food was also lovely, with plenty of choice. Very close to the lifts and bus stop.

This hotel is lovely and welcoming.
Can’t fault it. Room spacious and well equipped with fantastic views. Food very enjoyable. Love being able to help ourselves to cold drinks and tea or coffee. Staff so friendly and helpful.
Hope to be back in winter for skiing.

Great hotel very near the Zell mountain. Friendly staff. Clean hotel and rooms throughout. The Gym needs updating if you are into that kind of things. Food and drinks all inclusive with a varying evening meal menu everyday. overall a very pleasant experience.
