This a true diner, not all gentrified and gussied up, but the real deal. The servers welcome you like old friends when you walk in and automatically put you in a good mood. Breakfasts consist of mostly eggs and the usual things that go with them: bacon (nice and crispy), biscuits (fluffy and large), toast, hash browns, grits, etc. Nothing special, but cooked just right. The coffee is also good. If you want tea, you have to provide the tea bag, and they will give you the hot water for it. For the price you pay, it's great value.

This place is a breakfast and lunch gem! The food is great! The service was awesome and so personable. We felt like we were at a family member's house enjoying a meal. Wish we could go back tomorrow!

Don’t even think about going anyplace else for breakfast in New Orleans! Just a short block or two from Canal Street on Camp Street, this place is a gem for breakfast. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch but the breakfast was FANTASTIC! We had cheese omelets which were delicious accompanied by home fries that were absolutely the best I’ve EVER eaten! Garlicky and tender! The food was served piping hot by a wonderful waitress named Cassandra. She addressed everybody by calling them “Baby” and was the best server we’ve seen in a long long time. My omelet came with a tender tasty biscuit and the home fries and cost only $6.50. Everyone in that restaurant left happy and satisfied. We’re going to try the lunch tomorrow! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting New Orleans!!!

We decided to go here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised! The people were funny and friendly, the food was great! Delicious biscuits! Beware they do not offer traditional griddle breakfasts, eggs mostly, but delicious! Loved the atomosphere!
