Delicious! We (party of 3) went on a Thursday night and we were seated immediately. We got onion rings, eggplant parmesan, fried shrimp and oysters, bruccialone (rolled veal with spinach and egg). We so enjoyed our meals! Our entrees were all less than $20 and were huge portions! Would definitely recommend Mandina’s!

LATE ENTRY: this is a great family owned restaurant. We ate here on a visit last October, and the food was spectacular! Our server Erin was EXCELLENT! I had never had Turtle Soup before, and theirs is excellent! The portions were more than generous, and the meal itself delicious. I didn't even make it to dessert!

The restaurant is pretty busy on weekends and always has a wait. Highly recommend if you're in New Orleans for a great meal outside of the Quarter.

We tried this place out for dinner while in New Orleans. Food was really good. Good home cooked New Orleans food. The portions were massive. Enough to share or take home and have another meal.

We had heard great things and it did not disappoint. The food and service were both great. The downside is, it's right and crowded and because of that, very noisy. We would go back but maybe try a different day/time.

I’m from Louisiana and when we go to New Orleans this is first on our list. Mandina’s never disappoints. I love taking the Canal St. trolley there and back. Way cheaper than a taxi or upper. Get the soft shell crap buster appetizer if it’s in season. The homemade sauce is fabulous. Reasonable prices and great food!
